关于该犬种
The Anglo-Français de Petite Vénerie was standardised in France in the 20th century from crosses of medium-sized French hounds with English hounds such as the Harrier and Beagle. The name refers to hunting smaller game, such as hare, rabbit and fox, usually in small packs or with hunters on foot.
It is lighter and handier than the large Anglo-French hounds and can be a pleasant companion, but it remains a scent hound through and through. It needs plenty of running, likes company, follows its nose readily and uses its voice. A rural home with an active owner suits it best.
你知道吗?
"Petite vénerie" is the French term for hunting smaller game with hounds, as opposed to "grande vénerie" for stag and boar.
