O pasmi
The Transylvanian Hound is an old breed from the Carpathian forests, kept by Hungarian nobility for hunting. Historically there were tall and short-legged forms, used for big game and for smaller game respectively, but the breed almost disappeared in the 20th century and has been rebuilt mainly from the tall type.
It is a strong, black and tan dog with good endurance and a tolerance for cold weather. It is usually calm, balanced and loyal at home, and can be watchful with strangers. It needs plenty of room, exercise and outdoor activity.
