O rasie
The Toy Poodle was developed from smaller Poodles to create a true lap-sized companion, and it became popular in Europe and later in America during the twentieth century. In the FCI standard it stands no more than 28 cm at the shoulder.
Despite its size, a Toy Poodle is a real Poodle: alert, clever and keen to take part. It enjoys games and learning tricks, and adapts well to flat life and travel. Toy Poodles can be fragile, especially as puppies, so they do best with adults or older children who handle them gently, and with owners prepared for regular grooming.
Czy wiesz, że…?
Toy Poodles have competed successfully in obedience and agility, proving that the breed's working mind survives at any size.
