Opieka
Charakter
Calm, even-tempered and affectionate, it bonds tightly with its family and is reserved with strangers. It is sensitive and does not like rough handling.
Ruch
Moderate daily exercise of about an hour, such as walks, sniffing outings and gentle hikes, suits most Eurasiers.
Pielęgnacja
The plush double coat needs brushing a few times a week and more during the moult. It should not be clipped.
Szkolenie
It learns readily with calm, positive, consistent training but switches off with repetition or harshness. Early socialisation helps with its natural reserve.
Zdrowie
Hip and elbow dysplasia, patellar luxation, hypothyroidism and eyelid problems such as entropion are known in the breed. Ask the breeder for hip, elbow, patella, eye and thyroid results.

O rasie
The Eurasier was created in Germany in the 1960s by Julius Wipfel and others, who crossed the Wolfspitz with the Chow Chow and later added the Samoyed. Their aim was a balanced, family-oriented companion that combined the best of European and Asian spitz types.
The result is a quiet, steady dog that likes to be close to its people and is not suited to kennel life. It is reserved with strangers but seldom aggressive, and usually gentle with children and other pets. It needs moderate exercise and a calm household, and it is sensitive to harsh treatment and long periods alone.
Czy wiesz, że…?
Eurasiers, like their Chow Chow ancestors, may have a blue-black or spotted tongue.
