견종 소개
The Sealyham was developed in the mid-1800s by Captain John Edwardes on his Sealyham estate in Pembrokeshire, Wales. He wanted a small, brave terrier to work otters, foxes and badgers, and selected strictly for courage.
Modern Sealyhams are usually more relaxed than many terriers, enjoying comfort at home as much as an outdoor adventure. They are affectionate and amusing with their families, though independent and inclined to do things their way. The breed is rare, so finding a puppy can take time, and it is worth getting to know breeders and the breed club early.

The UK Kennel Club lists the Sealyham Terrier as a vulnerable native breed because of its small number of registrations.
