관리
기질
Calm and affectionate indoors, eager and tireless on a trail. It is friendly with people and usually with other dogs, but small animals trigger a strong chase instinct.
운동
Needs long daily walks plus regular chances to run in safe, open areas; tracking, mantrailing and hunting suit it best.
그루밍
The short, dense coat needs only a weekly brush; shedding is moderate, heavier in spring and autumn.
훈련
Willing but independent once its nose is down, so recall needs patient, early work and good rewards.
건강
A hardy working breed with few widely reported problems; hip dysplasia occurs occasionally, and some lines also screen elbows. Ask the breeder for results.

견종 소개
The Schillerstövare was developed in Sweden in the late 1800s from local hounds and imported German, Swiss and English stock. It takes its name from Per Schiller, a farmer who exhibited his hounds at the first Swedish dog show in 1886.
It is built for speed rather than power, and works alone, following hare or fox through snowy forest and driving it back towards the hunter. At home it is usually gentle and easy-going with its people. Most dogs still live with hunters in Scandinavia, and the breed is rarely seen as a pure companion, because its nose and need to run are strong.
