관리
기질
Calm, balanced and loyal, somewhat reserved with strangers and determined when tracking.
운동
Needs long daily walks and regular scent work; tracking and mantrailing are excellent outlets.
그루밍
Brush the dense short coat weekly; check the long ears and any loose facial skin.
훈련
Fairly cooperative for a hound when trained calmly and consistently; recall near scent still needs work.
건강
Generally healthy; hip and elbow dysplasia, ear infections and occasional eyelid problems are reported. Hip, elbow and eye checks are sensible, so ask the breeder for results.

견종 소개
The Polish Hound, or Ogar Polski, has a long history in Polish hunting, used for boar, deer and other game in forest and hill country. The breed almost disappeared during the Second World War and was rebuilt afterwards by Polish breeders from the surviving dogs.
It is solid and heavy-boned, with a black-and-tan or brown-and-tan coat, long ears and a serious expression. At home it is calm, loyal and fairly easy to live with, though it can be watchful with strangers. On the trail it works steadily with a deep, carrying voice. It needs regular long walks and secure space.
알고 계셨나요?
Its Polish name, Ogar Polski, simply means 'Polish hound', and it should not be confused with the lighter Polish Hunting Dog (Gończy Polski).
