Um tegundina
The Sabueso Español is an old Spanish scent hound, kept for centuries in the north of the country to track hare, fox and larger game. It is a long-bodied, robust dog with remarkably long, soft ears and a white coat marked in orange or red.
It often works alone, following a trail with persistence and a deep voice. Hunters also use it to trail wounded game. With its family it is usually loyal and gentle, while being reserved with strangers. It is rarely kept purely as a pet, and it needs space, exercise and the chance to use its nose.
