Iseloom
Affectionate, cheerful and very people-focused, with plenty of courage and determination. Friendly with visitors but can be reactive to other dogs.
Liikumine
About an hour or more of daily exercise, including walks, play and games such as tug or fetch.
Karvahooldus
The short coat needs only a weekly brush and sheds moderately.
Koolitus
Eager to please but strong-willed; reward-based training and early socialisation with other dogs are key.
Tervis
Hereditary cataract, L-2-hydroxyglutaric aciduria, hip dysplasia and skin allergies are known in the breed. Ask the breeder for DNA and eye results on both parents.

Tõust
The Staffordshire Bull Terrier emerged in the industrial Black Country of England in the 1800s, from bulldog and terrier crosses bred for strength and tenacity. After dog fighting was banned, breeders turned it into a show dog and companion, and the Kennel Club recognised it in the 1930s.
Today it is valued for its affection towards people and its zest for life. It is sturdy, energetic and loves physical contact and play. It can be strong on the lead and may not get on with other dogs, so early socialisation, training and supervision are important.
