Hooldus
Iseloom
Affectionate, alert and sensitive, it is devoted to family and reserved or suspicious with strangers. It has a chase instinct.
Liikumine
Daily walks plus a chance to run in a secure area, around 45 to 75 minutes in total, suit most dogs. Protect the skin from sun and cold.
Karvahooldus
There is no coat to brush, but the skin needs regular washing, moisturising and sun protection. Dental care is important.
Koolitus
Intelligent and sensitive, it responds best to gentle, reward-based training and early socialisation.
Tervis
Hairless dogs often have missing or irregular teeth and sensitive skin prone to sunburn and acne; patellar luxation is also seen. Ask the breeder for screening results and dental history of the parents.

Tõust
This hairless breed, known to the FCI as the Peruvian Hairless Dog, comes from Peru, where hairless dogs appear on pottery from pre-Inca cultures such as the Moche and Chimú. It is recognised in three sizes, from small to large, and is a national heritage of Peru.
At home it is affectionate and close to its people, sometimes clingy, and watchful with strangers. The bare skin needs care: sunscreen or clothing in sunshine, a coat in cold weather and regular moisturising or washing. It is a light, agile sighthound-like dog with a strong urge to chase.
