Hairless dogs need skin care, sunscreen and occasional baths; Powderpuffs need brushing several times a week.

Responsive and willing with gentle, positive methods; house training can take patience.
Tervis
Primary lens luxation, progressive retinal atrophy, patellar luxation, dental problems in hairless dogs and skin issues are known. Ask the breeder for eye and knee results and DNA tests.

Tõust
The Chinese Crested's history is unclear: hairless dogs existed in several parts of the world, and the breed's link to China is uncertain. The modern breed was developed mainly in Britain and the United States in the twentieth century.
There are two varieties: the Hairless, with hair on head, tail and feet, and the Powderpuff, with a full soft coat. Both are affectionate, gentle dogs that like to stay close to their owners. They are lively at home but not demanding. The Hairless needs skin care and protection from sun and cold, while the Powderpuff needs regular brushing.
