Hooldus
Iseloom
Bright, eager and affectionate, usually friendly with people and dogs. Sensitive to harsh treatment. Very energetic.
Liikumine
Needs at least an hour and a half of activity daily with off-lead running in safe places. Field work, agility, canicross and scent work suit it well.
Karvahooldus
Brush the medium coat weekly and trim feathering lightly if needed. Sheds moderately.
Koolitus
Learns quickly and likes to please; gentle, positive training works best. Early recall work is important.
Tervis
Hip dysplasia, epilepsy and some eye conditions are known in the breed. Ask the breeder for hip and eye results of the parents.

Tõust
The Brittany, or Épagneul Breton, comes from the Brittany region of western France, where small spaniel-type bird dogs were crossed with English setters and pointers in the 19th century. The result was a compact dog that points and retrieves, handy for hunters on foot.
It is one of the most popular gundogs in France and does well as a family dog in active homes. It is affectionate, sensitive and quick to learn, but it has a lot of energy and needs daily running and mental work. Bored Brittanys tend to invent their own jobs.
